Email received

I have received an email from Ebay saying the they have reason to believe thay my EBay account has been accessed fraudukently. Why did I receive this email, and what fraudeulent activity was detected. I have received a Bid on one of my items for sale. Is this involved in he suspected activity?

Go into your eBay account and check that the message is also there.

If it is not, then the email is most likely fake.

Don't click on links in the email and delete it.

If it is in your eBay messages also, change your passwords and follow any other instructions suggested in the email.
