How do i delete my ebay account, and re-do another account while still using the same email address?

I was thinking of creating a bogus email address, and using that to change my real email address, then deleting that ebay account, so that my real email address will then be made available, for me to then create a new ebay account. Can this be done? If not, how else can i go about it?
