I have received a receipt through PayPal for an amount but there is no confirmation email of order.

I have received a receipt for an Order from PayPal but item is listed as eBay Commerce Australia Pty Ltd and an amount. No email of confirmation of order so can't track what the item was or who the seller is. I contacted PayPal and they said to contact eBay. It has taken me over an hour to find a contact!

If you signed up for the free trail and didn't cancel before it was up you automatically start getting charged for it., at around $49.00 per month.

Read the T&C's for eBay Plus (that you would have ticked as read before getting into it)

Have you made that many purchases for the same amount that you don't know /can't tell from your purchase history what you've  bought?

What is you question for other members, since you are posting on a member to member forum?

It is hard for us to help when you don't know what your own receipt is for

You have not been left any feedback as a buyer recently

If the amount was for $48.98, that is the eBay Plus annual membership. It kicks in after the trial period has ended unless you specifically cancel beforehand.

Then... how did you receive this invoice? Have you opened a new window for your browser, typed in the PayPal URL, logged in, checked your PayPal account...? Whatever you do, never click onto a link in an email, even if it looks legitimate.

Are you saying that there is no transaction showing in your My eBay?

Is it possible, then, that you didn't log in when making your last purchase, and that instead you logged in via social media such as your Google account, your Facebook account, etc.? If so, you may have made a guest purchase.

Has happened to me exactly the same. I did purchase something through PayPal but just shows eBay Commerce and the amount. The item I bought is not listed in my ebay purchases and now 2 weeks and no contact at all regarding order received.
