Did you finalize the transaction by either sending a mutual cancellation or opening an unpaid item case?

You need to do one of the two otherwise the ebay system won't know the transaction wasn't paid for.

I would open an unpaid item case now, only 32 days to do so and close it as soon as you can to get the fee credited back.
