Purchases from China not arriving after 6 weeks, I then contact and seller asks me to be patient

Hi everyone

I have bought many items on eBay from China over the years and I do check where the Seller is LOCATED and not where the Item is Located, I don't like being SCAMMED, The last 9 months some of the Purchases from China are not arriving here in Australia after my delivery limit of 6 weeks, even though they put 3 months on the delivery date, After 6 weeks I will then contact the Seller, Not appreciating the Seller asking me to be patient and wait 5 days, every 5 days until the 3 months are up and no feedback can be given as the 60 day limit is over !. Now after 6 weeks, if the seller re-sends my purchase, I Will leave a Neutral feed back stating item resent, I can then add/Update information on my Feedback comment , If Seller makes me wait and wait, I will give a Negative feedback stating not received and waiting Patiently for my refund ! I can then again add/update information on my Feedback comment !.

I am really amazed how many items don't turn up and after 3 months and I get a refund, sometimes I need to go into Dispute to get a refund and that's fine, but it is really wasting months of waiting time and giving eBay the thumbs down.

Anyway I have thought about this problem over a the last few months and realize Covid19 has a part in the delay, BUT!!, The sellers actually get 3 months of my purchase money interest free, 2 days after payment !!.

Could this just be another scam they are playing with us Aussies or have I got it wrong ?. mmmmmm

On another site I use, the Seller only gets payment  when my purchase is confirmed, as described and accepted by the buyer !!, They seem to get my purchases here Okay, not all, But mostly Okay

If so, you know the answer. If not, it might pay to keep in touch with what is happening in the world.
