First cancel your existing credit card immediately and ask for a replacement.  Report the scram to the crdit card company n ask them  to get the refund for you.  They are part of the mistake to allow such payment without your authorization.

People signing up for Smartycashback are authorising the monthly charges when they 'agree' and sign up. The credit card company/bank will be able to verify this. There is no 'scram' and will be no refund owed . Not reading the t&c due to wanting a $15 voucher is not the 'mistake' of the credit card company

Fees will still be owed , even after their card is cancelled if they fail to cancel the subscription they signed up to and agreed to be charged monthly for doing so

@Padi they seem to think if people cancel their cards, they won't have to pay the fees they owe. Not like the company would recover the fees by another means or anything. Bye bye credit rating/any hope of any kind of loan etc etc
