kopenhagen has given you the best advice. @peter2462013, unless you cancel your eBay Plus subscription after your free trial, you will automatically be charged.

eBay's Buying with eBay Plus page also outlines exactly how to cancel your eBay Plus membership. You must follow that procedure; it's not a matter of contacting eBay Customer Service by phone, or via chat, because eBay Plus is a specific area requiring a specific procedure.

To cancel your eBay Plus membership:

1. Go to your eBay Plus membership page.

Just to make it very, very clear... you cancel your eBay Plus membership BEFORE the free trial period runs out. If you don't cancel before then, you'll be charged. You must cancel by going to the page specifically set up for you to manage your eBay Plus membership - NOT by phoning eBay or chatting with eBay CS staff.

If you no longer want eBay plus then you need to unsubscribe before it renews.

There is a fair chance that you need to read eBay's MBG. Nothing to do with the OP, who almost assuredly thought their free eBay Plus trial was free forever. Given your whinge seems to have nothing to do with that, maybe ask your own question. Or, even better, have a look at the 'buying' board, where there is a plethora of information.

2. Membership cancellation
2.1. You may cancel your eBay Plus membership at any time by selecting “Manage membership” on your eBay Plus membership page and then selecting the “Cancel” option in the drop-down menu.

knew it was in there somewhere,  was added after numerous complaints when ebay plus memberships started to renew.  I actually thought you only had about 5 days,  but it is 14 days apparently.   It is not automatically applied just by cancelling your membership, you have to then request a refund.

Nobody can talk to Ebay. Even a Featured Ebay Premium Store cannot talk to Ebay. Send an identical Text Message 10 times about the same problem & you get 10 different messages back from 10 different Ebay Staff. Ebay Policy is the final decision even if it is completely wrong & unfair.
