eBay Plus membership is not giving me free shipping at checkout on eligible listings

I signed up for eBay Plus a few hours ago and tried to buy this game from EBGamesAustralia. This was my cart. The item page also says shipping to my postcode in Australia is free.

But when I go to check out, its trying to charge me $3.48 for postage and says that I saved $6.95. I cannot for the life of me understand where the $3.48 is coming from. And its really annoying and makes me regret signing up for paid membership.

What can I do about this? This was a waste of $4.95 for me lol.

Many thanks!

I'm not a member of eBay Plus, but I believe it takes a day or so for the benefits to kick in.

@mmo2016, it's probably either a Friday glitch or your membership has not yet been confirmed. Have you received an email from eBay confirming your eBay Plus membership?

I assume you are not in an area with one of these postcodes? https://pages.ebay.com.au/buyer_coupons/plusexclusion/

They changed the list only recently (in December), so the listings might still say "free postage" if started before December, but when you go to checkout it is not free?

Postage is $6.95 for me for Australia Post standard parcel + signature. You would not get postage for $3.48 for AusPost + signature, so it appears that some kind of discount has been applied?

I am not a member of eBay Plus either, but like Padi I think it might take some time, so you should try again later.

By the way, have you logged out and in again after signing up? I am not sure if this is relevant, but you could try.
