Keep getting a warning of my ebay account being restricted coming from: eBay is ebay@reply2.ebay.com.au a scam email address? Is this a scam?
Is there a copy of this email in your eBay messages too? Genuine emails from eBay are usually also in your eBay messages (apart from when they remind you of an auction or ask if you are still interested in an item or that kind of emails). "Official" emails about your account should also be in your messages.
I got a scam email this morning about 'Managed Payments' and my account being restricted until I give over details (not from that address you have given but with the word ebay in the address)
Went to an email address I have never used, linked etc for eBay in any way
And it was about 'changing to how you are paid' and 'needing to provide ID '
So YES, there ARE scam emails going around on the subject
As mentioned, never click on links in emails, always look if the message is also in your actual eBay account and only by logging into your account by the actual eBay website
