eBayCommerce Australia Pty Ltd - is this eBay or a scam??

WARNING: I made an eBay purchase via PayPal on the 12/Feb/2023. The Paypal confirmation states "You've paid $10.29 (AU) to eBay Commerce Australia Pty Ltd" and the money has come out of my bank account. BUt I haven't received the product and my eBay account has no record of the purchase. So I assume that eBay Commerce Australia Pty Ltd is a SCAM SITE.

Can eBay respond to the above? Is this true? What is eBay doing about it? How do I get my money back ?

I also would like to know if eBay Commerce Australia Pty Ltd are scammers. I  made a purchase thinking I was purchasing from eBay.  Finding the goods which were for a birthday gift for a young child to be faulty I went back to eBay and they have no record of me purchasing them. Then I was advised by PayPal that my purchase was from eBay Commerce. 
I have no idea how it changed to eBay Commerce.

The last question have been answered. No, that is what eBay purchases appear as. Learn how to use a site before you use it. Look at your purchase history, change the drop down menu

But you need to do that on the account you bought on

No need to ‘go to eBay’ the card Tyrone from a script, they didn’t look at accounts or what you bought

you need to do that yourself

If you bought as a guest, you need to follow the process there

And you didn’t buy from eBay, eBay do not sell anything. Hopefully you were logged into eBay and made the purchase from the seller through eBay though

I have spent a whole day trying to contact my seller and I need to know who is accountable for this EBay Commerse site. I also went through PayPal and when contacting them they said contact eBay and I found it impossible to get a review of that last product.

Totally agree money has been taken from my PayPal account for goods I never ordered through ebay commerce.

Is there any particular reason why you have quoted the OP but not added anything relevant? Did you read any of the answers? Are you fair dinkum? I'm fairly sure I know the answer to the last.

eBay do not read the member to member forum so are not going to respond, nor do they have any clue about what happened as you have not opened a dispute/alerted them or contacted them

Did you use this account to buy on? or another account? or did you buy as a guest?

Have you changed the drop down menu on the account you bought on to cover that time period?

What was the estimated delivery date?

You have 30 days past that to open an item not received dispute to get your money back

Since you say you paid with PayPal, you have 180 days

No, it is not a scam, but someone who has not read the buying basics or used the tools they were given

All payments now first go to eBay Commerce because of Managed Payments, so that is not a scam. If you cannot find your purchase, in addition to what Sandy said, maybe it was cancelled? Have you checked? Anybody else in your household who has access to your account?

eBay do not sell anything. The bright yellow banner warning people NOT to give out their personal details on a public forum is there for a reson. You go ahead and give out your full name and address anyway. The only people who will contact you will be scammers you have just happily given your details to. Open an item not received dispute while you stll have a few days left to do so
