postage label has been charged 4 times

I recently sold an item and tried to print out a postage label but my printer wouldn't work properly. I requested a credit for the cost.

I tried 3 more times, it worked on the 4th try. I requested a credit 3 times but have been charged for 3 labels on my invoice.

I want to ring EBay but cannot find a phone number.

The phone centre has been closed for months because of the coronavirus.....you need to use Live Chat at present.

You are charged every time you "create" a label. If you simply keep printing the same label and do not "create" another, then you will only be charged once. There is an option to "download Label" which I always do, as not only can you reprint the label from there if need be, you also have the buyer's phone number if any issues should arise.

The label is generated and charged regardless of whether it is printed or not. Therefore in future if you have trouble with your printer, simply re-print the existing label and do not create a new one.

If you cancelled the labels correctly,  you will have to wait approx 25 days to recieve a credit, as it can not be processed until AP confirm that the labels have not been used.

Note the normal  timeframe may be extended due to covid  and the current mail backlogs.
