I orderd an item nearlly 1 yr ago and still have not reieved it, I dont want it anymore simple, what do I need 2 do to get a refund

After one year there is nothing you can "do to get a refund".

You should study the eBay Money Back Guarantee for future reference.

By the way, as an additional problem, in case there was a tracking, trackings become invalid after a while, although carriers have them in their system a bit longer than what is available to the public.

You bought it in the middle of COVID, and they probably told you to wait a bit longer, but you should never wait so long that not even PayPal can help (you have 180 days to open a case).
