i sent an email to ebay@ebay.com on tuesday2 june about a faulty item (replied to order advice), but have not received any reply.

i searched ebay ap on what to do. unfortunately the procedure doesn't work (found item in purchase list, would not "select" as instructed). could someone pls phone me working hrs to sort this out. i am not happy with using chat due to my slow typing. could not find any Australia phone number to call. i am disappointed with ebay support, i thought it would be better - the online process to return/swap faulty item is so complicated, it is impossible to follow. I have spent some time & just go in circles trying to follow process.

PLEASE CALL RICHARD (purchaser) on

I will ask a mod to remove the phone numbers you have put on a public forum for the world to see

Please be aware the only calls you will get about this issue will be from scammers, as mentioned, eBay do NOT read here

I am not sure why you email eBay at all about this, it is between you and the seller so you need to contact them, not eBay

You need to read the basics, to protect yourself as the buyer it is YOU with all the power

You could have opened an item not as described dispute also

It really is not necessary to make it complicated

You are not contacting ebay here....the boards are run by volunteer members.

Ebay neither reads here nor replies.  Members here cannot call you.

For various reasons emails are not suitable....they are automated and the replies rarely answer your questions.

The phone option has been closed for many weeks because of the pandemic.....for future reference the 1800 Australian freecall number usully connects you to the customer service centre.

All you can do now is use the online claim system....it really is not that complicated.
