I cant get responses to genuine questions!

I have been looking at buying certain models of Fender Stratocaster guitars and after being messed around trying to buy elsewhere I decided to try Ebay. I have had my account for years but got put off when I tried to buy an item but because my account was new it would not let me and I ended up just going to Amazon. 

The problem I have is that people simply ignore me because I have no purchases. I even asked someone to give me any response of any kind just so I know someone is at the other end (ad has not been updated for months) but I just get ignored. 

How do I purchase anything if sellers completely ignore me no matter what I do? Incredibly frustrating!

Thank you! I would love to know why they would be ignoring me, if they are not away as also may be the case. If people can see it from my point of view that I am a new customer who is not short of money who cannot get people to take my money.... it is just the most insane situation to be in as a customer. I do get potential concerns but it is incredibly frustrating to be continually ignored outright.

Just checked - the 0 feedback seems to only have effect if - other standards have not been met.

ie - unpaid item strikes - buying more than your limit - etc.

Nothing about communication for 0 feedback.

Oh I see, well that would make sense. 

I don't know why others reply with completely unhelpful/rude responses when I haven't been rude to anyone else. Clearly I am not an Ebay user so not entirely sure how it all works so I am genuinely grateful when someone takes the time to provide helpful information! 

I still find it unbelievable how difficult it has been to part with my money when generally people do all they can to extract anything they can get from you these days.

The seller has messaged me: Nothing is blocked that I can see.

Fingers crossed I can at least get an answer as to what is going on here. If I can actually make a purchase then I would be very happy (crazy its this hard to do though)!

Maybe the problem is at your end.....have you been able to message other sellers?

I can message but I never get any response, not that I have sent many messages as I obviously don't use Ebay to buy things. I really only came here due to getting my time wasted on FB marketplace and I thought it would be quicker to just hit a buy now option and avoid all the time wasting. Boy was I wrong lol! 

But either way, as I don't get responses I cant tell if I am being ignored or filtered out somehow

Usually there is -  - where one is registered - about - feedback - etc
