Log out of this social media account, and then select to create an account. Go through all the prompts and you should be OK. Whenever you want to buy something, log into the new account, not the social media account.
To get some feedback, try buying some $1 items from China. Feedback to the Chinese is very important, so most will leave it on payment, hoping you'll leave it when the item arrives. For $1, it's no big deal if the item doesn't arrive. A friend of mine, I told them to buy "beads", which are beads as we know it for bracelets, but also stones that can be used to make pendants. They ended up onselling the $1 beads they bought and made a profit!

Another one will come up that you'll like the look of and be able to buy, after you've created a proper ebay account and not one logged in via social media!
