my account and receiving payment for item sold

Hi - am not sure how eBay works as this is the first time I have used it to sell one item - my account shows that someone has made a payment (so I guess I have sold it) but it indicates a release fund date of 28/4 so does that mean I dont get the payment until then and I presume that the buyer can only pick up after that date? Also, I think I have an old paypal account that i didnt use so will the funds go to that account or can I arrange for an alternative bank account?

Your item has been sold and the buyer has paid, but your funds will be on hold in paypal for 21 days as a security measure.

You do not get to wait the 21 days before releasing the item to the buyer.

You and the buyer should arrange suitable pickup, and the buyer should provide a code from ebay when picking up.

Note your funds will be in whatever paypal account you have specified in ebay
