@nosse-2364,

Before you clicked onto “post”, you would have seen a pop-up warning you not to include any personal information in the post.

These boards are public boards, available for all the world to see – including scammers. Scammers are increasingly using bots and AI to scrape data from sites all over the internet, and you have just gifted them your address.

I’ve asked a moderator to remove your address from the post.

Be aware that it’s probably already too late to prevent this information from being collected into scammers’ databases. You’ll need to be extremely careful with any texts, emails, phone calls, letters, etc., from anyone in the future - even from apparently legitimate senders.

Scammers can use snippets of information like jigsaw pieces to build up frighteningly complete pictures of people’s identity.

In terms of your order, you cannot post on a public board (the eBay community board) ad a way of contacting the seller. This is how to contact your seller: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/resolving-issues-sellers/contacting-seller?id=4021#section1

However, your seller is highly unlikely to change the shipping address after the order has been placed, as they must send to the order address in order to be covered by Seller Protection under the MBG.

If it’s being sent via A.P. you can log onto their website and change your delivery address there - they will re-route for you
