When I select a flat-rate satchel or box, the Extra cover option disappears. However then below under Parcel Post / Additional services available it then lists Extra cover, which I click on, a little Loading icon spins and nothing happens.
Does anybody know how I can select Extra cover and enter an amount? Otherwise it looks like the maximum amount of cover is only $100 which requires Tracking with signature to be selected, is that correct?
Failing the ability to add cover > $100 via Click & Send online, has anyone had success paying for additional insurance over the counter at the PO with the Click & Send satchels or boxes?
For all packages $100 cover is included if you select tracking with signature.
For your own packaging, there is a check box allowing you to add extra cover.
When using flat-rate promo codes for the satchels or boxes, the extra cover check box disappears and according to their support rep you are unable to add any extra cover over $100 even if you go into a post office. This is a restriction of the flat-rate system.
A bit of a risk considering the 15kg weight allowance of the boxes, that's a lot of product to send without adequate insurance.
