Hi all, I sell small collector cards that can fit into an envelope. I made the postage option as domestic letter with tracking as one of the variations on my listing is pretty expensive. Anyways, A buyer bought two cards and requested me to combine shipping and refund shipping for one. So one card is $2 and shipping is $5, so he paid $4 for cards and $10 for postage. I have no problem in refunding him $5 and combining the postage into one australia post domestic letter with tracking, but do I just go to the post office, put both in one envelope and send it, and take the tracking number and put them? since both cards are in one envelope do I put the same tracking number for both cards on ebay? is that ok by the rules?
yes, refund the excess, put in 1 envelope, add same tracking to both....but are you sure you've quoted right price for 'tracked envelope'?
as an aside....just wait 'til you see your fees....you might want to rethink!
You are able to set up your postage.
Tracked letter for 1 item $5 ? - each extra item - what ever you choose - $1 - $1.50 - your choice.
Your buyers should not pay until they have finished shopping your items - the final tally will be the number of cards - with the first postage cost - then each extra item - added.
