Sendle Review
I’ve been using Sendle to ship out products, but honestly my experience hasn’t been good. The main issue is overcharging. I declare the correct size and weight, yet many of my shipments get hit with extra adjustment fees after the fact. For example, I’ve had orders show as $23 at checkout, but then my balance shows $46 missing — and no clear notification or explanation.
When I contacted support, they weren’t helpful. Instead of properly investigating, they just pushed responsibility back on me. I’ve had over 50 shipments with the same issue, and it feels like they don’t want to take accountability.
Shipping services should be transparent and reliable, but with Sendle I’ve found it stressful, unpredictable, and expensive. At this point, I’ll be reconsidering whether I keep using them at all.
⭐ 1/5 — would not recommend unless they fix their billing and support issues.
I had a parcel delivered by Sendle yesterday and it’s gone missing, courier took picture of parcel at my front door, I was out at the time.
Contacted Sendle & they are investigating it’s disappearance. Road Runners courier delivered it I rang them but they didn’t have a lot to say, the item was bought from Amazon via a seller on Amazon website, Amazon said I had to contact seller.☹️
The photo is going to be the sticking point.
There are three scenarios that I can see as logical:
1️⃣courier delivered item, took photo, left, and thief subsequently made off with the parcel;
2️⃣courier delivered parcel, took photo, looked at the door and any windows to estimate risk of observation, and made off with the parcel which he’d been eying covetously; and
3️⃣courier delivered parcel, took photo, left, you came home, brought parcel in, but decided to claim it wasn’t there in the hope of being refunded and keeping item (only listed in the interests of logic, and certainly not what I consider in keeping with your nature).
If a thief made off with the parcel after delivery, you won’t be covered…
If the courier purloined it, I don’t see how you can prove it unless you have a doorbell camera or similar. If you don’t, is that something you may want to install to future-proof deliveries?
