Ebay push their Ebay post and printing labels and show the red post boxes to receive the parcel. Do not post in these but take to Post Office and make sure item is scanned. Increasingly I have had no scanning done until delivered or not at all. If item goes missing as just has, the tracking number means nothing for their is no activity shown.
Ebay refund to the buyer, which is right for it is not their fault but take from your paypal account. This can be open to abuse and light fingered postal workers know this.
