Please Help!
Bid and won a beautiful ring on the 26th July 2013. Paid for international shipping and it was suppose to arrive around the 16th of August.
It has not arrived here yet and the last record of it on the tracking system has it as "Delivered" on 1st August in ERLANGER,KY (?!)
Have contacted the seller - but, they don't seem to believe me that I haven't received the ring yet - because of the "delivered" message for Erlanger.
Tracking states that it is being handled by multiple carriers and the tracking time line shows that it is "Still in transit".
Also, the seller doesn't seem to believe that I paid $28.04 US for shipping, when they only received $3.98 US for shipping (I have Paypal etc documentation to show that I really did pay $28.04 US).
I'm sure the seller thinks I'm telling tall tales about everything - which is most distressing.
I'd just like the ring to arrive and no undue stress is placed upon anyone.
If anyone please could help me with this matter, I would be most grateful.
Thank you.
Without actually seeing the listing I am only guessing here....I believe your seller has used the Global Shipping Program which involves Pitney Bowes shipping service.
This would explain why the items has been "delivered".....the seller has delivered to the shipping service. Pitney Bowes will then pack the item and on ship it to you in Australia.
The seller will indeed only get a small proportion of the amount you paid for shipping and PB will get the lions share....for which they arrange the shipping and pay any customs fees or duties if applicable. They also hang on to an amount to pay for their services.
Due to the extra handling it often takes a lot longer for the items to arrive in Australia.
Just keep in mind the 45 days for opening a dispute.
