Hi Ebayers, I have a question about an item I am looking at purchasing from overseas. The item is heavy as there are many parts to it and the vendor said he would need to send it in 2 parcels by ground postage which could take 6 to 8 weeks to get here.He also said that there is no tracking number or insurance that he knows of. The amount for the item including postage is about $1000. Would I be able to make a claim through PayPal if item not received,damage etc or 1 parcel gets lost. The vendor has been around since 2005 has 100% positive feedback for 78 items. I am not sure whether to go ahead with the purchase any advice would very much appreciated. Cheers, Rodney.
