HOw do I find a freight or transport service afillated with ebay that will pick up my purchase, ( a piece of funiture), in Sydney
and deliver to me in Cairns? Help please???

Usually those things are arranged before purchase.
You also need to ask the seller if they will accept a courier pick up because if they had pick up only in the listing, many sellers will not wait at home all day for a courier.
Pick up only means you contact the seller to arrange a time for you to pick it up and pay cash.
If the seller is ok with a courier, I suggest you google and get some prices.
eBay are not affiliated with local carriers. There are some specialising in eBay purchases freighted to and from overseas.
