I have a buyer that has bid and won 2 of my huge bulk lot of clothing. one parcel is 14 kilos and the other parcel is 11 kilos so its roughly 25 kilos. I know aust post limit is 20 or 22 kilos. I can send in a huge strong bag so it wont be cubic measured but its already 25 kilos. Big dilemma is she lives the other side of australia than me so the postage is HUGE. And the bummer is now ebay charges 10% of postage thats another huge chunk out again of profit.
Buyer hasnt got back to me and so wished she asked for a quote for postage before placing a bid as i will not relist these if the other winners decline as with all the unfair new rules after the 1st of november im out of here hence selling huge bulk lots.
Ive looked up one courier and did a rough measurements with 25 kilos most wont as its too large and heavy and one quoted $250!!!
If i send them separately it will cost her around $150 for both or if aus post will let me sent in one will be roughly $130+. But if i send separately and she pays with paypal can i do that or invoice her 2 lots and 2 lots get registered, signature etc. Then if i put in 5 - 5 kilo bags would work out not that cheap either. Didnt get that much for the clothing and so wish i just didnt list them now:-(
