I sent a 500gr satchel to the purchaser but it hasn't turned up yet and it has now been 2 weeks.
What do I do? There is no tracking number.

Buyer and I have been in constant contact over the last 2 weeks over a 500gr satchel that hasn't turned up at his end.
What do I do?
It doesn't have a tracking number on it as it was the old style satchel and not the new one with tracking number.
Do I refund? That doesn't seem fair to me as the I am out of pocket. All my other parcels have arrived safely so I have never encountered this before.
How long do I wait?
I would really appreciate some guidance on this. Thanks.

As you can not prove postage you should refund then take it up with Aust post.
It is up to the seller to protect them self against this by using registered or click and send post that gives seller protection.
Ask the buyer to check at their PO and tell them you will put in a complaint with Aust Post and if nothing is located you will refund in a few days after efforts to locate it have been done.
