International Shipping from the US to Australia There appears only one way which is very expensive. Does anyone have an alternate?

You would think such a progressive country such as the US would have a financially viable Postal Service.  But alas no!!

For 5 pounds which is only 2.3 kilo is going to cost me $53 AUD.

This is 4 times the price of the original item!! Lol.

Please tell me if there is something I can try.
