I purchased an item 11 days ago (17/12) which required international shipping. I contacted the seller at the time of purchase requesting a total. I was advised by the seller (18/12) that I would recieve an invoice from the global shipping program (I have never come across this before). I then rec'd an Ebay message requesting payment. Later the same day I informed them I was still awaiting an invoice. I received no response to this email and no further correspondence to date from the seller. The following day (19/12) Ebay sent email requesting payment. I beleive this is an automated process, I was still unable to pay as the error message reads "either change your shipping address or contact the seller for a shipping estimate".
On Christmas Day I rec'd a message from Ebay informing me that the seller has opened an unpaid item case and that I have four days in which to pay. As I was away at the time I was unable to respond until two days later (2712) when I sent an email to the seller informing them that I am still waiting for the global shipping program to send me an invoice. I am concerned as apparently the unpaid item can result in restrictions being placed on my account and this is unfair as I am not at fault. I am supposed to pay for the item by tomorrow.
