Is anyone else having problems with Australia Post delivering late and losing letters recently?

I sell a number of items which are thin and light enough to be posted at letter rate. I've been posting them to people with Australia Post for 20 years no problem. Since January heaps of people have had letters a week late and two have failed to arrive which means I've had to replace the items. It's just so bad for my reputation. I've tried contacting Australia Post but they just say letters can't be tracked. That's true of course and I take the risk to keep costs down for customers but why are they having this problem all of a sudden. Something has gone wrong with the service. Is anyone else experiencing this?
