If the seller is an authorised seller, I’d contact them by phone or chat or email or in person to let them know about the missing pair. I’d allow a few days.

If not authorised, esp. if seller is registered in China, for instance, and especially if reasonable time has lapsed with seller not answering, you can open a dispute for Item Not As Described/Significantly Not As Described (INAD aka SNAD). Choose from the drop down selection that it has parts or items missing.

A note of additional caution… If you ordered the Serengeti sunglasses from an eBay seller in China (which you can determine from the seller’s profile page which shows country of registration), and you paid less than $200 for one pair, just be aware that the item is probably fake. You may be able to go to a reputable authorised seller here in Australia who would be able to determine that… but this is by the way.

When you open the dispute, if it is an overseas seller, do not ask for a replacement or for the missing pair to be sent (in my opinion). If it’s an authorised seller (confirmed by the actual brand to be authorised), that would be another matter.

Be aware of dispute timeframes; read the eBay Money Back Guarantee to be sure you act within the timeframes. There’s no leeway. But if you only ordered last week, you have plenty of time (30 days from the date of receiving your item).

if you only ordered last week, just how long have you waited for the seller to reply? You need to give the seller a reasonable amount of time - say, 48 hours?

Additional note of caution: if this does end up with your opening a dispute, do not close the dispute until the situation has been resolved. Once closed, a dispute can’t be reopened.

You know, I understand that when there is a problem you would like an immediate reply. I have occasionally been in the same situation, and I felt anxious too. But unfortunately sellers are not online 24/7 and cannot always answer immediately. The seller really seems to be genuine, so you should receive a reply soon. If not, you can always open a case, but I am pretty sure you will receive a reply.

The seller seems to be OK (I assume it is the seller who gave you feedback).

When did you contact the seller? In the past, sellers were supposed to reply within 48 hours. This notification does not appear any more after sending a message, but it might still take a couple of days for a seller to get back to you.
