Postage.

If a seller lists postage as being sent by a 3kg Aust Post satchel & charges for this. Then sends by a cheaper method, do I have

the right to ask for a refund for the difference.

If it had been sent in the 3kg satchel I would not have worried, but the seller is just maling extra money this way.

The seller has more of the same item as she has relisted this item again, with the 3k satchel postage.

thanks

OP  and bigbrick....a satchel 3kg - with sig - $16.00 Oz wide.

If the item received was in anything other than the 3kg satchel, then the buyer has every right to ask for a refund for excess postage.

If you adv a posting method, and the buyer purchases as per the adv method, you must provide it, if not, you refund the difference.

Even with insurance the 3kg would cost no more than $18.75.

OP - if the item is not in a 3kg satchel, question it, and report the seller if they have done the wrong thing.

It was sellers like this, that used postage as a profit maker, that prompted eBay to start charging fvf on postage.
