Can an item unmark itself as being posted?

Strange question, but that's what looks like has happened.
When I post items off I mark the order(s) as sent, then upload tracking while at the post office. I have an item from earlier this month that, all of a sudden, says Posting Overdue in red, in the app, and it's been unmarked as being sent. When I view the order details, instead of saying In Transit it now says Paid, and that's it.

Looking at the tracking number and it's dated today and currently awaiting processing in Strathfield, NSW (I'm in Tas), with the item originally posted and accepted by my PO on October 4. The status on the order details page is "There's an issue with the delivery," and the due date was 13th October.

So, can an item unmark itself as being posted? I've never had a defect for late posting and would hope I don't get one for this one as it originally had been marked posted.

Mark it as posted again.

And contact eBay if you do get a defect for late postage, they will be able to see when it was actually posted from the tracking.
