Are you sure the delivery was supposedly at 11.15PM....late at night?
In recent months ebay deliveries have been showing as being delivered a day later than the actual delivery. Australia post will show an item as being delivered on a Saturday wen it was actually delivered on the Friday.
Have you looked around your property and asked at the post office.....that is one reason that mail can show as delivered when it is actually delivered to the post office.
