Using 500g ebay satchel. Last week was able to print label for $8.65, today $8.95. What happened?

I have chosen Australia Post Packaging, small satchel... can't see any cheaper alternative.  It's not much, but it's not right?

Added to the fact that we don't get credit on fees paid after refunding postage.  This often happens after customers have paid separate postages due to some glitch with ebay not allowing purchase without payment.  This would add up to considerable amounts in Ebay coffers over a year.  

It's not worth making a phone call over and anyway, it's Sunday.

I ALWAYS get onto 'live chat' and get a refund for fvfs on combined postage (if buyer has paid separately)

With AP 8.95 is now the cheapest rate for a parcel.

Did you by chance print more than 10 last week ?

I now when you buy satchels in bulk they are cheaper and 8.65 seems about right for a discounted or bulk rate.
