What would be considered an appropriate time for a parcel from the US?

I have been waiting for a parcel from the US for 3 weeks now, seller is away so I am unable to contact in regard to this. What is a sufficient time frame for a parcel to arrive here? It was posted First Class Mail International LJ289866925US on the 6th of July, as an International letter, when I checked on the tracking number. Does anyone have a bit of insight to this or can advise exactly how long I should wait. Any advice is appreciated:)

First class from the US takes on average 3 weeks, but taking into consideration reasonable delays due to holidays over there etc, allow 4 weeks before taking any action.  I suspect your item will arrive next week.

But watch the date, you have 45 days from date of purchase to file a dispute if the item does not arrive,
