The tracking says ‘Due to high order volumes, deliveries may take longer than usual’

So no need to worry then it seems. Why do you think it might have been lost in transit? What was the original delivery date it was due?

Was about a week before the original due date. I think it might be delayed as it is come from overseas but I’m not sure

As dave said, who knows? It is strange it says "there was an issue with the delivery" though. Which carrier is that? Have you asked them why you get that message? They are the only ones who possibly know what it means. Possibly an international tracking? The problem with the delivery might have been with the next carrier if the service used multiple carriers.
