Hi, thanks to a helpful ebayer I discovered on the weekend that tracked satchels are not covered under the Paypal Protection Policy.
Now I'm looking for an alternative to posting registered mail because it's so expensive for the buyer.
Can someone tell me if Click and Send items are covered by Paypal if linked with the Ebay account and is that just because the address is entered into their database? But what's to stop the seller from still posting elsewhere? Just wanting to know what all the experienced sellers are using.
Thanks
Re: the stars - Actually, it was on another ID I have, and if you only have low volumes of feedbacks and one person decides to give you no stars at all, for all your categories - it sends them down to under half immediately. And if you were already on say, 4.9 or 4.8 you can imagine the result. Very nasty thing to do as it takes quite a while to build them back up again, and it's just a fact of life that postage is expensive these days. The lady who did this to me bought a pair of almost new baby Osh Kosh overalls for .99c and postage was $6.00 in a satchel. I think she thought they would just miraculously transport themselves for free? 🙂
Anyway, thanks everyone for your help. I think I'll take Phorum's advise again and just use registered from now on & include in the price. I'll see if this ends up affecting the sales.
Brilliant to have this forum to ask for help. Thank you
