Hi
A guitar amplifier I ordered arrived damaged.
The housing for the electronics has become detached.
It is reparable but I'd like to ask the seller for a refund.
What is the best way to resolve this?
Should I let the seller propose a resoution/refund amount...?
or should I specifiy the refund amount.
What is reasonable to ask for.? full refund...just shipping...?
Thanks for your help
I would contact the seller, explain the damage and attach pics. See how they respond before you ask for anything. Depending on the cost of the item and the cost of shipping they may offer a partial refund or send a replacement.
If you paid by PayPal and the seller doesn't offer a suitable resolution you can lodge a claim through PayPal and you will have to pay the shipping cost of return in order to get a refund. You have 45 days from the date of payment to open a PayPal dispute.
