Can suddenly access paypal without signing in - again

I have 'one touch' sign in on my paypal account turned off.

Yet ebay just allowed me to use paypal to pay for an item without signing in.

I did not approve this.

I cannot find these settings anywhere on ebay. 

This is a serious security issue as I have to leave my phone unlocked.

Have you actually checked your PayPal settings again after this happened?

This happened to me too a couple of times - I received an email from PayPal saying they recognized my device, and when I logged in I noticed that they had turned on "one touch" without my authorization, just because they recognized my device, so I turned it off again, as I don't like it either.

Happens to me occasionally too, but at least I can turn that off. Can't get rid of the unread message from Paypal notification re downloading their app. They claim only way to remove unread message mark is to download the app. Argghhhhh.

Nothing to do with ebay, you will need to login to your PP account, which you can no longer do via ebay.

I have already done this, as I said, all the paypal settings haven't changed, only the ebay ones
