Cannot update bank account

Ebay tried to pay into my old bank account for a sold item. I was expecting a paypal payment. In order to set up my current bank account, Ebay needs me to enter the old bank account number but I it is so old that I have no record of it.

Are you sure that is what has happened.  How long ago did you sign up for managed payments, as that is when you would have had to provide bank account details to receive payments.

You only have 1 recent sale  21/9, your payment will be on hold for 30 days, unless released early.

What does it show under your payments tab.

Thank you for replying. They have definitely used an account i entered 10+ years ago. Anyway i have managed to enter my new bank account. I was expecting a paypal payment! Now the account says it is paid to me. (but to the old account)
