I have been charged $48.99 and I dont know what for I have never sold anything on e bay I want to know what is going on can I get my money back or do I have to go to the police to investigate a fraud.

That sounds like the amount of a subscription to ebay Plus.....did you take out a subscription?

Depends on when you did it.....there is provision for you to cancel the subscription and then apply for your money back but I understand it has to be done within a week.

I doubt it's fraud. It would almost definitely be you signing up for eBay Plus and not reading the fine print. Definitely a consumer error, if that's the case.

I wonder why people sign up for free trials which will automatically convert to paid subscriptions, then are shocked when the payment they agreed to is claimed. I guess people done understand 'trial', or read T&Cs. Or think everything in life should be free.
