I have had a hold put on proceeds from the sale.

Buyer has picked up the item and I see no reason why ebay can't pay me right away.

Like all "new sellers" your payments will be on hold for 30 days, see the link below.

I do hope you have been fully verified for Managed Payments or you will never get your money.

Why do you believe  the same hold on funds that apply to all new sellers should not apply to you exactly?

Your last feedback as a seller was 'more than a year ago' in eBay's eyes you are new

Regardless of when you joined or how much you sold back them

If it were a pick up item and you did not want to wait, then cash on pick up should have been chosen

You agreed to the terms when listing  the item for sale

Plus the buyer has not left you feedback

Was the code scanned on pick up?

Did you sign up for Managed Payments and be verified before you listing?

You might see no reason why eBay can't pay you right away, but you are not going to get any special treatment

And no, I do not work for eBay , I just happen to be aware of this very basic policy

Hi there, Nice old machine, but as a new seller the  30 day hold on funds applies to you.

If  you have the pickup code, then you can at least prove item has been picked up, but normally you also need to have received positive FB, before ebay will consider a request to release funds early.

Note any request for funds to be released early, is solely at ebays discretion.

Just to add, if you don't have the code, you have no way of proving to ebay that the item has been collected.
