I sold an item on ebay for $13 + $3 postage but was only paid out the $13 less the ebay. I ever had this issue when receiving via PayPal. I have been re-reading all the emails about the change in systems but nothing about not receiving the post too cover postage.

You should have received $16 less the eBay n PayPal fees.

Select help at the top of the page and chat with eBay to ask why the postage was not paid if that is the case.

What was the item number,  no sales for that amount on the account you are using here.

It is a bit of a ripoff that they calculate their fees on the sale total - incl the postage - which is generally at cost.  What it means is that you have to add a 13% +  as handling fee to not lose out - 

Then you also get the GST charge on that also.

All in their T&C but...

eBay take the seller fee's out of the amount of the sale and transfer the balance to you
