Partial refund twice on same order

A customer bought 6 items in the same order from me & has now contacted me saying one of the items is broken. She also says that another item may not work either. I can do a partial refund no problems for the first item but once a refund has been done on an order, if a second item in the same order is broken also can I do another partial refund once one has already been done. I can ask buyer to check the second item but it is something that you do not want to open until your ready to use it & she is not ready to use the second item just yet. So in a nutshell can 2 partial refunds be done on the same order at different times.

I have never done it but you could try logging into PayPal and see if the option is available.

Edit - Just realised you haven't done the first refund yet.

I would perhaps do the refund on first then if the second has a problem are you able to send another to replace ?
