PayPal preferred payment option; yet I have to select PayPal over CreditCard every time. Why?

Every time I buy something on eBay and check out, credit card is ticked as payment option.
I have set in PayPal that my preferred online payment option is PayPal and not credit card.
What do I need to do in eBay to to have PayPal as preferred payment method?

I would check your account settings again, maybe unset and reset them. I presume you have eBay and Paypal accounts linked? Otherwise a phone call or two to eBay and Paypal and they may be able to work it out. Seems to me it is something in the settings that would be causing this. It looks like you haven't sold anything for over a year, so I presume you have transferred money to your Paypal account?
