eBay Marketplaces GmbH .Has taken $80 out of my paypal account ,For what reason ?

Is this a scam?

We have had the same issue, $53.67 AUD. Check the description to see if it says "eBay Seller Fees" apparently ebay have changed the way they charge sellers, which is what this is. Not sure exactly how it works or how they calculate the charges, but there are quite a few similar posts all over the net. If you are unsure, I would suggest querying the payment with Paypal. Same here, They've taken $85 one month and $24 the month before.
Since the payments are made from PayPal and going to eBay, I'll check my purchases there to see what is going on.
The description of fees to eBay Marketplaces GmbH does not help

I'll have to see what was purchased at Market places. Can all of us be wrong if we are querying these charges?

So how do I get my money back? I could not find the contact information of this seller.

This charge is the sellers' percentage charge for everything you sell. It is charged monthly for your sales of the previous month. They send a message to your eBay inbox a couple of weeks prior, with the heading "your eBay invoice for (MONTH) is ready to view

They just took out $670.00 and i didn't even buy anything shame on you EBAY MARKETPLACE & PAYPAL I will be closing both accounts once this matter has been resolved

The same thing has happened to me over years and years to the tune of $1000+. Paypal have suspended this going forward and I have only sold a very few things over all the years I've been with eBay. Something very dodgy is going on and someone is having a lot of fun times with our hard earned cash. Like you I will be cancelling accounts!! eBay Marketplaces GmbH need to be held accountable for this!

I'm having the same trouble with money taken out of my pay pal account from Ebay market places GmbH. I don't know why I'm being charge $1.65 consistently every month as I don't currently have any ads up to sell anything on Ebay and also I have not sold anything on eBay for at least a few years!!! I might just close both these accounts too!!!

I too have had money taken out of my account $2.58 I didn't sell any thing on ebay..
I did buy 3 items.

if this continues. I too will have to close my accounts..

Just checked my paypal account...its not from them..

I queried this with them myself (after taking 10 min to search even how to contact ebay). Mine was a sellers fee and the system got the dates wrong (I sold in November, the invoice said October). I had a (virtual) chat with someone who was helpful and refunded the amount to me, because I complained (but more because it seemed there was a glitch in the system). She then clarified with me that the sellers fee is 10.9%. I did not realize the sellers fee was so much! That is obviously my fault for not realizing - I know there's a spot to check fees when inserting - I hadn't sold on ebay in a few years so hadn't realized the increase! I don't think I'll be selling with ebay much - or only certain types of items - from now on. The agent I chatted with was helpful though.

I got a notification from PayPal that Marketplaces GmbH has taken approximately $48 and scheduled to take more. I did not authorise this. Spoke to PayPal and they said that I must have after I told them I didn't. Last message from PayPal was that they have investigated, and closed this inquiry. Also that I need to take this matter up with this merchant. Dodgy and I'm not happy about how PayPal discarded my inquiry.
