What is a managed payment account.

I have no idea what is a managed payment account.

Is it compulsory?  I am not a business, im only a private seller but i accidentally turned my paypal account into a business account.  I dont know how to go back and turn my account into a private account

Would appreciate if anyone can help.  Have no idea what to do and how this is going to affect my paypal account and selling on ebay

If you want to sell you cannot have a private paypal account.  It has to be upgraded to a business account in order to receive your money from your buyers.....and for ebay to get the money from sales to transfer to your bank account when you go to managed payments.

So that means that if I dont register as a managed account by the 15th March 2021 I wont be able to post new listings and/or receive payment from buyers. Correct?

There are many threads concerning Managed Payments in 'selling'. Have a read of them.

Yes, you will be required to register for MP if you want to keep selling. It has nothing to do with Paypal.

What type of paypal account you have and  if you are a private seller or not, makes no difference
