I received an email from ebay stating that my recent transaction may be from a compromised account.
It says that the item has been removed from the site and the transaction cancelled, but I had already paid for the item.
It was suggested that I immediately contact my payment service used to request a refund.
I had already made payment through paypal via my bank account.
How do I actually request a refund after the transaction has been made?![]()
It says MAY be from a compromised account. Unless it is a high priced, scam prone item like a mobile phone or computer I would wait 10 business days after cleared payment and if it hasn't arrived open an item not received dispute through Paypal, add 5 working days for overseas.
Items can be removed or sellers deregistered for a variety of reasons and your item may be on the way to you.
As you paid through Paypal your money is safe.
