If I click on Paypal will I then get the option of paying by credit card instead of opening a Paypal account?

Yes, you do get the option to pay through paypal as a guest but if you need to open a dispute you will have to open an account.
Also, it is a limited facility...you can only make a certain number of guest payments before you have to open an account.
