paypal password to much info wanted

Ok hunted google on how to change my password found the steps but when I try to change the steps are different, profile password change then it wants me to enter all my bank details, to go to the next step I dont think thats right surely I should be able to change my password without that info

Yes it is normal for them to ask for either your bank details or your credit card number so they know it is you that is trying to change the password.
